The legend of Fitzcarraldo tells the story of a man who has his steamship pulled over a mountain in the Amazon in order to reach rich rubberplantations on the other side. With the future fortune he would gather with his rubbertrade he aimed to bring to reality his greatest dream: Building an operatheater in the middle of tje Latin-American jungle. We wanted to do something impossible as well: Have a house in a small Italian village. Klaus Kinski succeeded in pulling his ship over the mountain. In the year 2000 we bought Casa Fitzcarraldo in Lezzeno on the shores of Lake Como. Dreams can come true.....
